The pore structure of aerated brick equipment
The pore structure of aerated brick equipment products can be roughly divided into three categories:

1. Bubbles (also known as large pores): 45%-50% of the pores in aerated concrete are spherical bubbles that can be observed with the naked eye. It is formed by the reaction of aluminum powder in the slurry to release hydrogen gas. There are huge quantities and different sizes. Part of the stomata walls can be connected.

2. Capillary pores: Capillary pores are the pores left after the evaporation of unhydrated free water. Existing in the bubble wall, the radius of the hole is between 5nm and tens of microns, and the shape is very irregular, mostly elongated. The capillary pore volume accounts for 30% of the entire pore wall volume.

3. Gel pores: Gel pores are the pores of the hydration product itself or the pores between the hydration products. Existing in water bloom silicate products, the micropore diameter is between 1-5nm, the ultramicropore diameter is <1nm, and the pore volume is very small, accounting for less than 1% of the entire bubble wall volume.
